Miller Generating Station

Seminoe Power Company LLC

Under development by PCW affiliate Seminoe Power Company LLC, the Miller Generating Station will provide approximately 2,000 MW of natural gas-fired generation. Together with the CCSM Project, the Miller Generating Station will provide a firm, reliable electric power supply at a size and scale that growing domestic electricity markets demand. Completed work includes engineering studies, environmental studies and air quality modeling. PCW also is actively exploring the potential for on-site carbon capture and storage; the plant will be hydrogen-capable and carbon-capture-ready. This project:

  • Is ideally located south of Sinclair, Wyoming to efficiently access Wyoming’s low-cost, abundant natural gas supply
  • Offers high thermal efficiency in converting natural gas into electricity
  • Provides significant and positive financial benefits to Carbon County, to Wyoming and to the nation
  • Creates more good construction jobs, domestic manufacturing jobs, and operations jobs in the electric power industry sector

More detailed information will be available when permit applications are filed with authorizing agencies.
